Coach Kevin Ott states:
Anchor Bay finishes 9th out of 20 teams entered at this year's County Meet. This was a improvement from last year's finish where the team ended 11th overall. The boys swam and dove well showing resilience. I was proud of the team and their achievements this weekend as we saw all three relays achieve season best times, 73% of the individual events swam to season best swims, and all three divers qualify for the Saturday final finishing 3rd, 4th, and 15th!!! Nice job divers!!!
Highlights from the meet and top 16 finishes were:
Zachary Trombley finished 15th overall in the 200 Free (season best time)
Nate Toth finished 11th overall in the 200 IM and broke his own freshman record lowering his time to a 2:16.06 (season best time)
Matthew Pokropowicz finished 14th overall in the 50 Free (season best time)
Edin DeeHooghe finished 3rd overall in the 1 Meter Dive (season best score)
Adam Schmehl finished 4th overall in the 1 Meter Dive (season best score)
Mark Mancuso finished 15th overall in the 1 Meter Dive (season best score)
Caden Baker finished 14th overall in the 100 Back (season best time)
Way to go boys!!! Keep up the hard work and the positive mental attitudes!! Division meet is less than 3 weeks away!!
