Last night, our volleyball team beat Port Huron Northern in three sets (25-13, 25-18 25-20).
"We played so well together tonight," said Anchor Bay coach Emily Hite following Tuesday's victory over PHN. "Our offense was aggressive and that's what we need to finish games. Our defense was covering every part of the court and our attackers finished the points. We're ready for the cougars on Thursday."
Karlee Stoll finished with three aces, three kills, 23 assists and 10 digs to help lead the Tars. Khloee Stoll had five aces, a kill, four assists and 18 digs. Emily Smith put up 13 kills and two digs. Natalie Stass had five kills and a block. Natalie Bergeron had 11 digs and an ace.
It'll be the Tars vs. the Cougars in the district championship game at Dakota.
The two teams have met twice already this season, with both winning a match.
Good luck, ladies! And as always, go Tars!
